About Tracy Tresidder
Tracy Tresidder M.Ed., PCC
I am a professional coach, lecturer and speaker in the areas of work/life balance, stress management and golf psychology. I have a wealth of knowledge and communication skills acquired through teaching Physical Education, Health and Personal Development to adults and children across the full range of public and private sectors
I hold a Masters Degree in Education majoring in Exercise Physiology.and have completed a Professional Development Certificate in Coaching at the University of Sydney. I am a member of the University’s Coaching and Mentoring Association. and am accredited with the internationally recognised and highly respected International Coach Federation of which I am also a member.
My particular area of interest is assisting individuals to reach their full potential; whether it is through golf psychology, leadership development, communication effectiveness, parenting effectiveness, stress management or work/life balance.
I have a long association with sport,I previously taught physical education at several major high schools over 15 years and am currently tutoring and lecturing, part-time, at University in the area of Human Movement and Sports Management where I have been involved for the past 18 years. I have coached many teams and individuals in a range of sporting disciplines to personal best performances including grand final wins.
I took up golf as an interest only 12 years ago and became the 2005 Ladies Club Champion at my local golf club and placed 5th in the 2006 NSW Champion of Champions Nett Event. After a hiatus due to work commitments I again won the Club Championship in 2013. I found that by applying the psychology I was using with my business and life coaching clients in the golfing arena, I was able to not only bring my own handicap down but could pass the benefit of my knowledge and its application onto those who play with me.
I discovered that by applying the long-proven coaching methods I use with my business and private clients to the psyche of golf and golfers, I have been able to calm the “savage beast within” numerous playing partners and other associates whilst increasing their confidence. This can be achieved either,in a group or one on one situation with remarkable success.
I obtain a great deal of satisfaction as I see improvements in both handicaps and the player’s level of enjoyment. I am inspired by the people that I coach and love to hear it when they in turn say they are inspired by me.
